And then again the sun
broke
brittle with a yesterdays laughter spread
amidst a sparkle of resounding moments.

Since then a voice tangled
within the labyrinth of time have run haywire
with those lanes of Old Delhi trying to
keep pace with an echo of your steps
and a silence we lost on one desperate evening.

Since then a ragged night always searched the
mists of a runaway rhythm tapping at windows and doorsteps
of an ever changing dark.

Since then I always rested our thoughts at a days end on
a cool marble within a derelict fort
as I touched your cheek again at a corner of a
tear drop evening
against a shredded sky.
