I Live For You

Yes,
I lived for you
all these years
and all these
summers
that stalked fervently the streets
looking for
moments
we lost
so long back...

Summers in Gwalior

Oh!
where we soaked our dreams
and our bodies once
behind the shadows
of a wet rope curtain,
the wind spoke of seething
hurts
hurtled against the
fort
each time I asked you
of a silence
caught in the midst
of disheveled hair
and lips that yearned a respite
of cooler confines
under your eyelashes...

I live for you
everyday
and a wayward smile
stolen
in the glimpse
of another day.
